Question for B6000D (4x4) owners

I have the feeling that my new to me B6000D is stuck in 4x4 mode - how much upward travel does your lever move when moving up to 2 wheel drive or down to 4x4? Also - same for high low lever located above 4x4 lever - lots of travel or are both levers very short throw style? Thanks!

Ahhhh . . . so who knows how much travel these hi/lo and 4wheel/2wheel levers are supposed to have?

I think I have this figured out - it seems there is a ball and spring detent on 4x4 lever that can be freed up with a skinny blade and a little spray lube/- also lifting front a little with FEL can take pressure off front end to assist in popping out of 4x4, possible backing up and turning wheels right and left - we shall see.
