I have a B7100 HST-D and using a Woods rotary cutter. Yesterday I removed the cutter shaft from the tractor PTO shaft to grease the U-Joints. I noticed there are (2) locking grooves on the tractor PTO shaft. One groove is about 1/2" from the rear of the PTO and another is about 1.5 inches toward the front of the PTO shaft. I finally, was able, to get the implement U Joint to lock into the last groove toward front of tractor. Is this the correct locking groove?
The implement U joint locking system is push bolt/rod type.
Any assistance will be appreciated. thanks in advance and have a fun day on your tractor.

If it fits on the rear notch (further engagement) that's great as long as it's not hitting the seal or the case you good to go. ;)
