Just re-installed auger on my BX25. Auger will spin but when comes in contact with ground it stops and will not dig. Has worked fine in the past. I have not had in on in 3 months. all fluid levels are good. Any suggestions?

Thanks for asking. Just the auger. The pto shaft continues to turn. Bolts contecting bit to gear box are in place.
So the pto turns but the auger bit itself doesn't? Sounds to me like the gears in the gearbox on the pto might be fowled up.
Have you looked to see if the shear pin is broke. If it was working last time you used it without trouble I don't see how the gearbox could go bad just sitting. Look at see if the input shaft to the gearbox is stopped while the pto shaft is spinning.
