Here's the day I brought my B2601 home. Trailer is my bosses "Quality" Aluminum Trailers 20 foot car hauler, pulls nice and easy as it's lighter than a steel one and holds his Bobcat 763 just right. The kids couldn't help themselves when I brought the Kubota home, I barely got it off the trailer before they were asking to drive it. In the bucket is a Stihl GTA 26 that my wife has been begging to get for nearly 3 years now, I was able to find the last one they had at the dealer when I picked up my tractor. We were going to unload the tractor and strap down the mini Stihl for my wife when she got home, but we all got too excited driving the tractor around and forgot it was in the bucket.

The last picture is me messing around with my little Karavan 5x8 landscaping trailer just to see if it would even fit. According to the brouchure on the tractor I'm exactly at the limit of the trailer at 1600 pounds.

Here's my BX that I sold last month in my 16 ft PJ dump trailer that I still have. I bought a 22 ft MidSota Nova utility trailer a few months ago for the MX and Jeep. I've used the utility trailer to pick up an EA box blade and RI rock bucket but haven't had a reason to load either the MX or Jeep up yet.

How did you make out on the sale of your BX? How old was it?

Be careful with your karavan trailer. The B2601 is 1600 lbs without the loader. The loader probably adds another 600-800 lbs. Plus if you have filled tires that’s more weight as well.

I was ok with the sale price of $19K which included some attachments. I bought it new in June of 2016 so it was five years old when I sold it.

Yeah it's a little dinky for the Kubota, was bored and wanted to see if it would fit, never hauled it anywhere. I had the trailer out to see if my gator would fit anyways, so tried the Kubota. Plus it's a good visual representation to the great opinionator who handles the finances in my house as justification to get a 6x12 dump trailer. I do have access to other bigger trailers to haul it if needed, but they're not mine nor at home. I'll just wait until her dad needs to borrow the Kubota and I have no convenient way to get it there. Then the dump trailer will be on order. ;)

I was wondering on the weight anyways, cause Kubota literature rates the loader (with 50" bucket) at only 208 pounds. That would put the tractor with loader at around 1850 pounds, doesn't seem correct, but that's what they say.

208 lbs would be just the bucket. The loader frame itself is probably around 600 lbs.

Either way nice rig!

B2601 on a PJ 16ft trailer. MDL 8316 with a 2ft dovetail. Kubota will fit with about 3 inches clearance behind backhoe. I usually just

offcenter the backhoe for extra clearance.

I would love to post a picture of my trailer! I finally saved enough for a trailer, or at least as they were priced a 1.5 yrs ago, but they are snatched up as soon as they come on the market! Strange times.

Hang in there at some point things will start leveling out and getting back to normal. Remember the great toilet paper shortage of 2020, well know you can find it everywhere.

I towed the MX out to a friend's place this afternoon to cut about 8 acres of his field. This is the first time I've used the trailer to haul the MX and there was a learning curve for sure. The trailer is a 15k utility trailer made by MidSota. The MX and RCR1884 are so long that I had to remove the ramps once I had the tractor loaded. I need to stop by a weigh station because the trailer/tractor/cutter combination feels HEAVY!

I will be curios to know what it weighs also. I'm guessing tractor around 4,000lbs, mower around 900lbs, loader system and bucket, guessing 1,500lbs. If your tires are loaded then ~600lbs more. So I would guess 7,000lbs or so.

Your numbers are probably fairly close. I've pulled 7,500lb of firewood in the PJ dump trailer that weighs 5,500lb empty and that felt lighter than the set up shown above! The trailer weighs around 3,700lb, the rotary cutter is 850lb without the driveline and with front rubber guard and rear metal band. I have chains front and rear so maybe 950lb overall. I do have ballast in the rear tires as well.

I don't know how much the FEL weighs, or the ballast, but the tractor on it's own is supposedly around 3,750lb. I might swing by the landfill this afternoon when I've finished cutting and see if I can get a weight from them. There's a weigh station near my house but I'm not sure if it's operational on weekends without someone being there.
