In the East Coast, this means bike week....
That's interesting to see the before and after shots. My cousin, mowing with a team of horses about 1950:

That mower is still sitting on the Pennsylvania farm right near where the above pic was taken but I see that at some time it was modified to be pulled by a tractor (tongue is shortened). My cousin is now 94 years old and still living on the place.

We were in Old Forge, NY for a couple days.
Getting in the neighborhood of @Tughill Tom
They have some whitetails and black bears that have gotten too accustomed to people.
Just before we got there, a mother black bear and two cubs were euthanized because idiot tourists wouldn't leave them alone.
The mother bear became aggressive after they got into a tree, and folks wanted selfies with the bears......
Stupid is as stupid does.....
This fawn was near our motel.
I left it alone......

Cool photo, but are we supposed to know what we're looking at?

Probably not. We stopped by this year because my father entered France in WW2 through Le Havre. They continued on to Harfleur before spending the night there.Cool photo, but are we supposed to know what we're looking at?
