Haven't used Messicks, but Colemans has always been excellent for me.

Also try your dealer and see how much they will charge for mailng to you. May be the same as Messicks, or you may be able to pick up. Prices vary with dealer and whether the item is in stock or if it can come from Kubota with a regular shipment.

Not sure about the markup, but Colemans seems to have lower shipping costs. I have used Colemans for this reason, quite a few times... In my limited experience the prices seemed to be comparable.

For me, a trip to a dealer is an hour or two round trip, so on-line is the winning option. The dealer where I bought my Kubotas from closed his doors unfortunately...he was about 30 minutes away. I used to buy everything from him.

Henro, do you also need a link to Colemans and Messicks? If one enters the name of either of the three they pop up real clearly!:D:D

Just get everything from my dealer. His prices are as good as Messicks or Coleman and he delivers to my back deck too.:D

Yep! AND it helps keep him in business AND keeps your relationship going with him so they’ll be there for you when you NEED him. :p

My philosophy is, better to deal with your dealer because if you need them but don't support them by purchasing stuff, they might reciprocate and tell you to pound salt.

Neither Messicks or Coleman is ever gonna see my tractors for shop work anyway.

No, but I think it is just good practice to give a bit more than one word when replying to a thread, like a link to a possible parts source.

I don’t have a clue what tractorjoe is... but I guess if it WAS coffee it would be spelled Tractor Jo.

Shame on me...

I ordered $279 worth of front axle seals, knuckle pivot seals, and filters today. Small percentage saved on the parts paid for the $19.49 shipping.

I found that my dealer had the same prices as the online stores, but there was no shipping. For me this amounted to about $500 or more in savings because I was getting body parts.

I didn't either. But I Googled it and it popped right up.
Thanks for the info.

Yer gonna find Kubota parts are never really “discounted” anywhere. The local dealer is the best source unless it’s not in stock then mail order is the alternative. There used to be some deals on OEM filters etc on eBay, but not so much anymore.
