Does anyone know if it is possible to get the Illustrated Parts List in an electronic format, but not "live" via the Internet? (like with offline files on a CD/DVD or thumbdrive)

It would be great to have access to it without needing to be on-line and relying on the Kubota web servers. It is a very handy reference.

Messick's has the same diagrams as the Kubota website, and I have down loaded specific sections, eg L 3560 engine, to my computer with no problem. Don't know if you can do it from Kubota's website. Much handier if on a local drive.

The reason the online manual from Kubota is superior to any other format, is that it is constantly changed to show the updated part #'s that are available, where a PDF or printed manual can quickly become out dated. ;)

Specifically looking for the B2601 IPL.

I’ve limited my search to Kubota’s website so far, but I’ll have to look at Messicks and others too.

I completely agree that the best source of up-to-date info will be the online technical info. I would always consult that before placing an order. I’m pretty impressed so far on how extensive Kubota’s parts information is. It’s good to hear that they actually keep it up to date.

My main fear is that ten years from now, they will decide to pull the IPL from the web. (Or an EMP takes out my internet and I can’t reach it!)

I bought a parts manual for my B7300 from Messicks just recently. Didn't think about updates. Still, the diagrams are useful but when ordering parts I'll need to check for updates I guess.
