i have a 2011 m135x and it has enough power on flat ground with the baler. but as soon as there is a bit of a hill its gutless i have contacted the dealer a few times and there is nothing they can do. is anybody else having this trouble? i hear there is a chip available for it has anyone tested one out yet? i am pulling a case rb564 baler. i run this beside my dad who has a jd with the same hp and he has a jd baler we make the same size of bales they are large but not extreme 1800 lbs. when there is a hill he can gear up if he wants and i have to go from h4 to h1 and even then its powering down to 1500 rpm. i try to keep it about 1000 pto rpm i have tried using the engine cruise and it doesnt help..... i have taken off the loader, changed air filters and fuel filters.like the tractor but cant have a tractor with no hp need some info on these chips or maybe i got a tractor that has no power. also my loader drops with tractor off and even with tractor running i notice my 3 point will drop down a few inches sometimes for no reason when i am outside working on something???? anybody got any experiences like this?????

I don't know anything about that model, but the leak down you are reporting is certainly not normal, none of our tractors have done that. Your local dealer can contact Kubota reps to determine acceptable limits and then diagnose your problem.

There is no reason that tractor can't pull your baler. You shouldn't need any extra hp to get the job done. I looked up the specs and it says your baler requires 80 hp so the 135 should be more than enough. I pull a Vermeer 4x5 with my M9000 and have no issues with hp. In good hay the windrows will be from tire to tire, dragging the belly and still feed the baler all it can handle without loosing any power. If it was me I would ride my dealer like a jockey rides a horse until I got some satisfaction. I know that tractor wasn't cheap and I would want it right.

I don't know if it will help you in Canada but I have a Kubota reps number that has helped me in the past, good luck.

If you could get the right mechanic out there I bet he could hook his laptop up and give you all the power you need. The last Cat loader I had was all electronic controlled. Everything on it from the engine to how fast the bucket moved was adjusted by computer. Wrenches were about useless.
