I am new to the Kubota community. Just purchased my new L2800DT and I am looking at purchasing a disc harrow. What size is recommended for the L2800? I visited a local manufacturing company

who reccomended a 6-1/2 ft disc harrow. They even offered to paint it to match the orange for free. I am also looking at purchasing a cultivator/planter from the same company. Any ideas or thoughts?

Thanks - avi8tor

Between 5 to 6 foot wide would be ideal. I dont think anything real big over 6ft would work to well. A 6 and a half foot should work just nicely behind. General rule with attatchments you do wont to go much wider then the outside width of the rear tires. Maybe no more then 6 inches on either side.

Thanks for the input. I went with the 6' disc harrow. Experimented with the sweep angle of the front and rear disc, performs really well. I would have like smaller disc as the 18" make the ground clearance small when lifted. After a few adjustments to the 3pt hitch arms, I have about 8" of ground clearance.
