I just bought a new bx 1860 and I have noticed that if I park my tractor with the mowing deck in the up position it leaks down over night. Is this normal?
Agreed. I have all of the neighborhood kids watching and are always around when I am out on the KubotaI ALWAYS lower the 3PH and FEL if I get off the tractor. If there is a kid around for 5 miles - including (or especially) my own - I couldn't live with myself if that kid lowered an attachment on himself, or another kid. Naturally he would be unable to start the tractor and pick it back up again.
Another scenario is for a kid to release the brake, and the tractor starts rolling. Not as likely to happen if the implements are lowered.
Once upon a time, a long long time ago, I "parked" my brother's pickup truck in his driveway - just left it in neutral, no brake. Three days later, we were having a BBQ, and just happened to witness the truck start rolling, and take out his pig pen! No real harm done, but GOLLEY, who would have thunk!
