Hello All,

New to this site and a new owner of a L3800 4x4 HST with loader and box scraper.
Just got the tractor yesterday and want to play but a lot of rain and mud right now so will have to wait a few day.
I started out looking a used NH TC30 but after I found out Kubota had the 0 down and 0 interest for 60 months I went this route. I have also read great things about the little orange tractor so I am pretty sure I did the right thing.

Thanks for reading!

Congratulations on your new tractor and as mentioned pictures are pretty much mandatory. I believe you will be very happy with your choice.

Very nice, I also have a couple of LP box scrapers and really like them.

Welcome to the site! Just a thought - you get snow in Iowa. When you decide to put chains on that beast, you will discover that you need wheel spacers to move the tires out a bit. A guy sells marvelous spacers on ebay (thetrackscompany.com) but has about a 5 week lead time. There are many threads in here about chains and spacers, etc. Best not to wait until you are up to your butt in snow to discover you need something...

Thanks a lot for the info.
I might just be able to handle making the spacers myself because I have my own machine shop with a vertical machining center, cnc slant bed lathe and some other nice pieces of equipment.
This is one of the reasons that I became a member of this site because of people like you that have a wealth of knowledge about these little tractors and I don't, but I'm pretty sure I will have a good time learning, listening and seeing some of the cool stuff that orange tractor owners have and talk about.

Thanks again!!

Cool! I'll bet you like it.
I haven't got to use mine yet due to the wet weather and busy in the shop. Also I have a coolant leak on mine by the engine oil pan. The service guy should be here at anytime to see what we need to do ( warranty work).
Are you getting any attachments for your? Post some pictures.

Yea, LP RCR1260 and LP FDR1672. I've got a lot of cutting to do with it. Also gonna have to make a brush fork for the bucket and some type of trailer mover / hitch for the rear right off too. .....and a chainsaw holder....and a box/tubes for chains.....and chain hooks for the bucket....and some work lights.....and some wire mesh for the grille guard....and probably a brush guard for the top of the bucket....and......

.....this site has already cost me more money and hours in work than I ever imagined and I only came here looking for ideas for mowing a lot of grass on slopes haha
