Got the chains and ratcheting binders finally so I can transport the tractor safe as possible! Got a great deal on all 5 binders and four 10’ 3/8” chains for little less than $200

Got a drum of gas for my generator and small engines.....

I will be doing the same with another drum for diesel! Easy enough setup! Around $300 for pump, filter, fittings, and a 5 psi 2 way valve to release pressure.

Hey everyone. Bought my first tractor Friday. It***8217;s a 2004 Grand L3130. I live on 5 acres of wooded land with hills and gullys. I picked this tractor up with 900 hours, all service records and dates for $13,800.

I plan to get a 5***8217; bush hog and eventually a grapple. Really excited to finally have one and be able to do stuff around the house!
Very good looking tractor. I wish I could find something like this used, but it just isn't meant to be.

This is the best looking L model by far.

Thanks.

I didn’t know what I was looking for totally. Got lucky... it’s the grand L, in great shape and I got lucky I think.

I have the regular L series 3800 and yours looks almost identical. You will love that machine. It's large enough to tackle heavier work and small enough I can still run it around the yard and not tear up the grass. The grapple and 3rd function I just got a few weeks ago and it is so much faster for clearing brush and hauling firewood. 20181010_210254.jpg

I have moved it so far! Coming up on 1 year owning it. Cut grass all summer, bushog work and a grapple will happen at some point.

This is my first post. Just started thinking about getting a tractor about a week ago. I had a chance to buy the same tractor in 2008 with loader, BB, Woods finishing mower, middle buster and trailer for $16k from someone I knew who let me try it out on my property first. Should have bought it, but succumbed to the siren song of the zero turn mower instead - big mistake. Sold the brand new ZD326 a year later and been on the Craftsman lawn tractor ever since. It's time to upgrade!

L3130 is a great rig.

Picked up a 6’ landscape (root) rake and a middle buster for $400. Was going for the rake only for $350 but talked them into $400 for both. No need as of now for a middle buster but for $50 why not. Lol

Please stay up to date and on subject with your post replies. :)

Reposting information about something from a year ago doesn't really do anything except confuse everyone reading, as I'm sure that the poster of the issue has either worked it out, moved on, or maybe even posted in his own thread about his issues. ;)
