Would like to add a step on the left side mostly to help wife get up onto tractor easier. Anyone added a step like the one that is on the L2501? BTW, my first mod was yesterday. Added a larger tool box to the rear of tractor for hammer, gloves, pliers etc. Thanks.

Hey Pondmeadow
I installed the ez on step from Modspecialties, to my B2601. Love it, very sturdy. This step also may be in the way of a mid-mower deck. I too added it for my wife. Made it much easier and safer for her to get on + off!
I also am researching for a hook for the loader bucket. I want one on the inside of the bucket. I’m entertaining all options.
Can you tell me what type + where did you get your tool box?
Your going to enjoy this tractor.

I removed the stock bracket holding the reflector and tiny toolbox and replaced it with a new piece of heavier stock 2.5 x 2.5 angle iron. Toolbox came from Ace Hardware and I bolted it to the new angle-iron in the center. I removed the top-link bracket from the old original piece and put it on the new angle-iron with two bolts. Overall much better and bigger toolbox. Probably won't reinstall the triangle reflector but may add some reflective tape. Titan sells some bolt on hooks that I found yesterday online for $15 but I want to take my time since it will involve drilling holes into the bucket. I will take a few photos and try to post them of the toolbox and top-link mod.

And he never even got under the tractor either.
I guess we all calculate risks a little differently.

I had one installed on my B3200 prior to taking delivery and I believe it may fit on the L as well. Dealer warned that it will get in the way of the MMM but I don't have one so no issue there. Makes getting in and out a lot easier. Can't get the wife to get on and drive it. She is happier with the small garden tractor for yard work.

your right, Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.... im all about safety and do some stuff that make people look funny also.

Jack stands looks like YouTube police to me , splitting wood guys really put on the PPE
some of the crazy crap ive seen on youtube, I doubt they are enforcing nor encouraging any safety protocols. But good on him and a number of others promoting a safety positive culture. Lord knows we need more of it this day and age.

Just installed the b2650 side step to my b2601 took all of ten minutes. Thank you Michigander for the post, my old worn out knees appreciate how much easier it is to get on and off the tractor :)

I also recently bought/installed the B2650 step on my B2601, it fits perfectly and should work just fine. I wanted to post the part number for those who may be interested, it is 6A700-51350, my local dealer had it in a few days for under $70. I used 5/16 by 3/4 inch bolts, and added washers on both sides to provide some additional support for the step/mounting brackets.

I also wanted to highlight the GP Outdoors video, good stuff!

I also bought the B2650 step on ebay (Kubota 6A700-51350 LH Side Step B2630 B2650 B3030 B3200 B3300 B3350) for my B7610. It fits but you have to drill your own holes.

I installed the step from the B2650 on my B2301 with zero issues. I used 3/4 inch long bolts and nylon lock nuts with flat washers on both sides. Works like a charm.
