I was thinking that would be a sweet motor for my wood splitter if this 1980 Toyota Tercel engine ever dies.
But so far I can't kill it. There is no gap left in the points, coolant in the oil pan, oil in the rad and it makes the spark plugs solid black blobs. Yet it still fires right up and keeps on going, LOL.

I'm confused. Kubota has had tractors over 100 hp for some time now, yet this article says this is the first over 100 hp.

Oh, I get it. The first, over 100 hp, meeting stage 5 emissions requirements.

Yep, many people don't realize there is even yellow engines that say Caterpillar on them, that are Kubota's.

What's the torque # and what's it going into? I'd also like to see a cut away or schematic. By itself 5.0/200 isn't that impressive.
The Impressive part of a Kubota engine is #1 the longevity and #2 the fuel efficiency. ;)
