Mystery Part ID BX2200?

Was blowing the accumulated grass of my belly mower, and found this- just sitting in the clippings. It's metal, a cap of some sort, with a grease fitting. The screw end of the fitting likely is what keeps it on.

Where does this thing go? I've looked things over and don't see anywhere obvious.

Just curious- what holds that cap down to the spindle?

Need to be aware that if part #150 is lost then grease nipple will most likely not line up away from gearbox & make grease fitting difficult to connect grease gun. Found out the hard way on mine.

Yep they are shims and not normal washers, to set the direction of the zerk. ;)
