Hello and thanks for adding me to the forum. I just bought a 1993 B7100 hst. The tractor is in great condition with only 1033 hrs on it. I replaced the oil and filter, hydraulic oil and filter, front axle gear oil, new antifreeze, new air filter and fuel filter. I cleaned the treadle pedal linkage and lubed it when I greased the tractor. My trouble has been addressed in different threads as near as I can find. The pedal never centers up to neutral on it's own. Changing the hydraulic oil and lubing the linkage helped but has not cured the problem. There is a threaded rod beside the hydraulic oil filter that connects to the centering spring. I screwed the nut down on the shaft to increase tension on the centering spring, but it was already about a half turn away from being tightened clear down to the limit of it's travel. Now after that adjustment if I reverse the tractor and let up slowly on the pedal it will come to a stop on it's own. But going forward it slows to a creep but never stops unless I press the pedal towards the reverse side. It's a pain trying to maneuver in tight spaces. I sure could use some pointers on how to correct this. I thought about a couple independent springs on the pedal to help center it, but getting them correctly tensioned to work would be very difficult. I just downloaded the service manual but haven't gotten it printed off yet.
My B7100hst has the creeps.

Around 1000 hours I had a similar problem with my late model B7100 hst.
What I found is that the bearing , part number 6 was slipping off of the inverted v plate number 4 ( neutral holder). There was enough "slop" in the bearing and the plate and would allow the bearing to "fall" off the edge of the neutral holder. What I can not remember exactly is what I did to eliminate the slop. The forward and reverse pedal would work but would drag and not center up correctly.

Once the pedal is centering, the neutral position must be adjusted to suit the pedal location. The procedure is outlined on page S.3-4 of the Kubota WSM. You said you downloaded it? From kubotabooks? It's page 211 of the PDF file.

Note that the tractor will tend to creep downhill if the engine is running, even with neutral perfect adjusted. Forward or backward. Vibration I guess. Oh well, that's what the parking brake is for. ;-)
Thank you all for the replies. I will certainly use the diagram and crawl under there to investigate that bearing. It does seem the parking brake is gonna be my best friend. The floor to my garage is sloped slightly and it will not set with the engine off without setting the park brake. It ever so slightly rolls an inch at a time until it hits my garage door. Lol This is my first priority, and I will report back on this. Thanks again.
You need to adjust #7 in the diagram posted above. It's not terribly hard, but typically will fix the issue.
