Add GPS and the brains/sensors of a Roomba and you don't even need to control it.

Soon, Maximum Overdrive... cue the AC/DC!

Lmao! +1 on that!

Before you know where you're going, you must first understand where you've been

Seen several, including a 50+ HP diesel.

They are new to the market. Probably wise to wait until the prices come down.

When I moved into where I am now I had a 48" zero turn and 60" ride behind brush hog.

I wish I would have known about these before...

Tractor...................................$18,000
15' Batwing finish mower.....$5000
7' rear finish mower...............$4000
60' MMM................................$2000
7' Rotary Cutter......................$1500
Stihl weed whacker..................$500

Money spent to cut grass....$31,000!

How bad can they be! :D

The diesel version that I saw was a HD 60" rough cut (not finish) machine. It was priced at nearly $75.000.

Kinda cool, but it only cuts 22 inches wide and it costs, hold your breath $8299.00 with no attachments.

Yikes.

I'm not really impressed.

For $200 per goat and $100 for fencing I can mow my bad spots for alot less and have meat at end of season. I think I will pass.

For 8900 bucks I can buy a lot of lawn service.....lol

needs a bigger engine for one and the cut width is minute.

I used to cut my creek banks with my Flymo tied to a rope. A Flymo will cut a 45 degree slope no problem. Too bad they quit selling them here in this country but they still sell them in Europe. A Flymo is a hovercraft with a mower blade. Pretty neat machine actually and a whole bunch cheaper than 8900 bucks.

You obviously have way too much spendable income or like being indentured to the finance company.

A 60 foot mmm is pretty wide. Probably be clumsy mowing around your 20 inch Stonehenge.

Those mowers are remote controlled, not autonomous. Husquvarna sells a much better fully autonomous solution. For a LOT less money.

The manufacturer advertises that the unit contains no fluids harmful to your lawn. Ahhh what about the gasoline that runs the engine?

Way too much money for what it is, way too little functionality per $, and I still have to babysit it, so no savings in labor. Sorry, I'll pass.

It is? Just making a statement. Being a farmer I've been indentured to finance companies for years. Nothing new there.

Would you prefer I say.... It's just a payment, go buy one?:)

Yes it is, The first part of your statement was rude. ;)

Back in the day, every golf course here with slopes to mow used a machine called an Allen National. Primitive as could be but could go pretty much anywhere depending on how far over the high side you were willing to sit :D Couldn't cope with long stuff though.
