Had a friend give me this 20' Container, he moved and didn't want to move it with him.
If you seen my garage / shop you would understand his real motivation for giving it to me, I have a hard wood / cabinet wood / tools problem!

Now I just need to clear a flat spot then "Kitty" and "Little Miss forks around" gets to wangle it to it's new home.

Congratulations you lucky bugger! I wish someone would give me a 20 ft container. :sneaky: I almost bought a couple three years ago when they were somewhat reasonable. Then I almost bought one 18 months ago for $8k when they weren't reasonable.

Even now, a nice one-trip 20 ft container up here is around $7k.

Dam, I need to upgrade my friends. Nice Conex I have two and they have been great. It takes 2 Gal of paint to cover up the 4 sides if your thinking about it.
Also there's Co. that makes an insulation system that goes in with studs and wire way built in. It's expensive but works great. Basement Insulation Panels | InSoFast
I did my basement 30'X40'x10' in a day and a half by myself wired in a day and sheet rocked in 2.

When I bought mine, I had a choice of two one trip containers, both pretty nice, but one had an unknown substance all over the floor. The soiled one was 4K, the clean one was 4.3K delivered. I spent the xtra money. (in 2019)
Now I hear they are 7.5K to 8K for nice one trip boxes.

As a side note, I am always amazed by the vast variety of door latching systems on these boxes, seems like no two are alike. There are 5 near my place, and not one has the same latch set up.

Very nice - containers are great for many things. Other than people trying to over repurpose them, the only thing bad about them is the space under the container. On a farm outside of Statesboro, GA (about an hour from Savannah) a farmer decided to relocate a container on his farm. When they began to move it, they discovered it had a massive rattle snake den under it. The count was over 20 rattlers. I am sure the container had just been sitting in a field for years.
