Was mowin and hit a stump...hard...broke the weld where the anti-scalp roller bracket is welded onto the the mower

About a month ago I welded up the trail wheel on my neighbor's 3PT mower. He ripped it totally off just below the mount bracket.
Just grind a "V" at the break, pull it back to gather with a come-s-long and weld it.
If you don't have a welder, get a hold of Daren (the new gun guy). He'll probably work for ammo!

never done it, BUT have seen several welds on older decks - right at that same spot!
Get someone to place it back, grind and weld the hell out of it. Little orange paint, you'll forget it happened!

Welcome to the club,, yep they get re welded about every other year. Whats bad is when you go to mow and and find the whell and bracket missing, then have to go look for the wheel and bracket cause somebody else mowed, and they never noticed it was gone.
