very nice indeed !

Take a closer picture of the pivot point on the lower cylinder - like to see how you attached to the ram.

Thats a good idea. Very nicely done. No excess linkage.

Is there a reason that you put it on the outside of the lift arm and not on the inside? I have seen something like that somewhere else using PVC pipe, but yours seems to be a cleaner look. Very nice job, I'll have to look at doing something like that. A lot better than $75 for the one that Kubota sells. Thanks for sharing!

I may have to do that on my L185. I spend time in the manure pile and I don't like to accidentally dig down when turning it, because it makes it hard to get in and out with a full cart.
Plus I won't have to lean way outside the tractor to figure out if the bucket is level

Haven't used a FEL with a level indicators, so excuse my ignorance:

Does the indicator indicate level only when the bucket is close to the bottom position?

I made a couple marks on the rod.. one when down on the ground.. and another one when higher off the ground.

Just now logging in where I can see photobucket. Very similar to mine except I did it on the other side inside the arm. I didn't think to attach it to the cylinder rod though, that certainly would have been easier, but looking at my pictures now I don't have enough room to do that.
