Have a 60" light duty bucket but am looking for something a little better to dig into dirt with and started thinking...... I have a never used, tooth bar for a 48" bucket from my previous tractor and that on a smaller 4' bucket might be just what I need. Prefer not to spend a lot of money on one so I checked TSC along with a couple local dealers and none have a 4' QA bucket. Any suggestions?

Extend the ends of the toothbar to fit a bucket you already have. The teeth don't have to extend the whole bucket. Your light duty bucket may be fine with the toothbar to loosen the material.

Thanks Idaho, noted.

D2cat I actually considered just mounting the tooth bar on my 60" bucket, and I'm sure it'd have to help some. But a 20% smaller bucket has to give noticeably more thrust and there are times, such as back dragging and snow removal, that I like the smooth edge. And since I have SSQA I might as well pick up a second bucket if not too expensive.

A toothbar required a bolt on each end. Once you have the hole in the bucket it takes longer to find two wrenches to fit, then to remove the TB for back-dragging and snow removal! You can also back-drag with the heal of the bucket and not need to remove the TB for that.
