Howdy Fellows,

I have an odd issue going on and figured I'd toss it out here to see if anyone else ever encountered this. The Woods 165 loader joystick vale for my FEL has developed a squeal like it's hitting its max operating limits. The strange part is, it only does it in the neutral position. The second you operate the up/down/curl it goes silant. Everything seems fine and strong. Any suggestions? I've attached an exploded view of the valve for reference.
Appreciate the help!

Something is amiss in the diverter valve - should be a normally open flow in the neutral position.
Trash in the valve?

Thanks Hokie. That's what I was thinking too. I'm not a hydraulic guy but my thinking is there is some type of debris in the neutral flow path. This causes a higher than normal pressure which in turn activates the relief valve.

Play with your three point. Sometimes the max relief position is not set right and if the 3 point is at its highest it hits relief.
