I have a B7800. I have noticed that one of my rear lift arms seeps slowly while the other does not. Does anyone know what would be involved to fix this? Thanks

How many hours on your machine?

You mean on your 3 point? Got any pictures?

Are you taking about a small fluid leak?
As the two arms are connected internally via the rock shaft.
The arms are attached to the rockshaft with splines and are held in place by a snap-ring on the end, remove the ring, remove the arm, and replace the O-ring and reassemble, very easy fix.;)

sorry should have been more clear. Its one of the lift arms on the 3 point hitch. its not leaking fluid. one of the arms slowly lowers when the tractor is running and attachment is attached. maybe about 1 inch after an hour of use. it sounds like this could be big problem if both lift arms are working in unison.

Wolf,

that is what I was thinking (didnt have the names in my head) how can one side move and not the other ....unless the splines are bad?

Worn splines or broken arm or rock shaft is about the only way that is going to happen.

Unless the adjustable arm is backing off???
