Can anyone point me to a LED plug-in replacement to the headlight bulbs that came with my 2003 Kubota B7500?

The OEM headlight bulbs are 15 watt medium (intermediate) base, single contact, bayonet type incandescents, also known as BA15s. They are the same configuration as 1156 automotive taillight bulbs. The light output of the OEM bulbs is pretty weak. I am looking for a higher output led bulb that fits into the existing socket.

I have been running 50 watt A701 high intensity bulbs for quite some time, and their light output is acceptable, but the extra heat may have caused or contributed to the cracking of both of my headlight lenses. LEDs that can match or exceed the light output of the A701s would be great.

Any assistance will be appreciated. (Posted on both TBN and OTT.)

I wanna know if these work!!!!

$7 sure beats $37 for the OEM bulb for the 2012 L3800!

Ours has a totally weird bayonet style that will probably never get converted to LED.

You could always change out the base and bulb.

For our L series units, I'd want a far brighter bulb, the 10K jobbers work.

If you really have a need for bright, you can always convert to HID... :D

I'll try to find my "spare."

When I was disassembling the wreckage that was my crushed hood and lights, I pulled out a shattered headlight housing and as I rotated it, a perfectly good bulb slid out the back and made that "POP" sound as it hit the floor. I thought, "There went $10!" It turned out costing $37 apiece at the dealer because the base is so weird, almost nobody makes a substitute.

I'll try and post one if I can find my spare. I think they are halogen.
