Is that a "Daylight" picture? Two final questions, what is your tractor's missing number (BX231) and your zip code's missing number(6860)?

Yes, it seems like sunsets are more intense at high elevations. I’m at 6,850’ elevation.
This one is not mine, but from western Colorado after a storm passed just before sunset.

Wow! But hard to believe the image hasn't been through a significant amount of post processing.
A friend is a professional photographer and he's a wizard with post processing. He was telling me that the really successful photographers are the ones that master processing.
Sunset from my porch a couple days ago...we usually get these clouds when a storm is moving in.
Interesting photo. Brought back a memory of an old adage, that apparently contradicts you experience...
"Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky in morning, sailor's warning"
Unless the storms you refer to come the next day maybe? No clue here...nice photo for sure...
Photos of sunsets are some of my favorites. Since we moved to our cabin 14 years ago I have taken hundreds of photos of our view of the lake at sunset. These are a few of my favorites. Not nearly as good as a professional might take, but for my talents, there not too bad.
