That's cool that your brother is a pilot, Eric. And, you are right- it is a growing problem. Not just for airplanes- I know a teenage boy who was shining a laser at night into the eyes of other drivers from a car he was riding in, and didn't realize he did it to a sheriff. He and the guys he was with were busted.

Found out when my brother was flying over the race track last week it was a 28/29 year old who shined a laser at the plane. My brother was able to radio down to the guys in the patrol cars and busted the idiot. He's waiting to go infront of the judge.

There was someone at the end of the SeaTac airport doing this a year or two ago. I never heard if they caught the guy, but the officials were rightly taking it pretty seriously.

Unfortunately a few it seems always try to ruin it for responsible people.

Interesting, this is the first that I have seen more of the lead up to actual crash where the plane just drops out of the sky.

It almost looks like it stalled, dropped to the right and then there was not enough altitude to recover.

?? thoughts ??

Load shift. Load broke free to the tail causing stall.

Load master was on board.
