I am trying to adapt an old Meyer snow plow to my L2501 tractor. I ran this plow on my New holand tractor for years. What I would like to do is work the angle cylinders of the plow to be controlled by the curl function of the loader valve. The plow cylinders are single acting, that is fluid to one extends while fluid returns from the other.
I bought new quick connects from Summit and had new hoses made by my local NAPA guy. Put it all together......AND IT DID NOT WORK.
I triple checked the hose routeing, free movement of angle cylinders, no debris in hydraulic lines. Plow did move to one side then nothing else.
Is there a check valve in the Curl circuit? I have spent hours in search functions and cant find an answer or similar problem. Thanks for reading this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
