I have removed everything on the cylinder and should be able to slide it out of the machine. Nothing I do will move it all. I can get it to turn some in the holes but it will not slide out. Does anyone have any input on where to go from here?

Thanks Mike

Did you remove Item 30…the bolt which holds the cylinder in the frame?

When you remove bolt 030 it will allow you to turn the cylinder to align the hydraulic ports up with the slot in the holder on the right hard side and it has to go that direction to be pulled out.

I saw the alignment for the hydraulic ports. Problem is the ends that are in the bosses seem to be frozen. I think rust is the problem. Am I wrong in considering heat? I’m soaking it in penetrating oil.

I would heat up the bosses and see if that helps.

My son used a socket the right size and a sledge hammer. It popped right out. After seeing how the thing is built, I felt kinda dumb. I'm assuming all that need to be replaced is the seal in the center piston. I hope so because the seals are higher than jet smoke.
