L3600 Glow Plugs Cycling

Got a nice L3600 recently
Once it's running and even warmed up, the glow plug light cycles on and off occasionally.
Any ideas as to the cause? Seems like a good way to burn the glow plugs out eventually.

Start by getting the WSM (AKA service manual) (send me a message if you need it).
Go through the trouble shooting guide.
Just thinking off the top of my head, that issue sounds like the glow plug relay is having problems and needs replaced.
I would check the resistance on the glow plugs too, just to make sure they are all burning properly.

usually the glow controller. Not always, but usually. It'd be worth repairing asap, before it takes out the alternator too.
