I'm trying to see what a new pair of the industrial/R4 tires would be for my L3130. Is anyone out there using those tires and can tell me the size? All I can find are the AG tires which are much thinner. My tractor is out of state right now so I can't go check. Thanks!

Most likely you'll have to change rims too.

I do believe these are the sizes.

Front 29 x 12.5 - 15

Rear 420 / 70 - 24

According to my L3130 Operators Manual the sizes are:

Front 10-16.5
Rear 420/70-24

The tire and wheel combination have the following Wholegoods item numbers. Tires would be mounted to rim and ready for installation.

Front: ALR8869 $277.88 Each
Rear: ALR8855 $777

i think this is the same size used on the L3240

My prices are likely wrong and you are highly encouraged to verify item numbers and fit with your local dealer.

Remember wholegoods is the Sales department not the parts department when inquiring.

Good luck.

Thank you both! I already have these installed on my Tractor but they are in poor shape with dry rot so I just need to replace them sometime soon so I already have the rims.

On the L3130, yes it’s 4x4 & hst and FEL, can I put r4 on front and leave r1 on back? Will it mess up the gear ratio or is it ok? Not sure any r4 are listed in my owners manual. What size is compatible to the 7.2-16 r1 on front now? Local tire dealer can get me 2 of the 7.2-16 new but there almost 200 bucks each. May just have to bite the bullet on that price unless could get r4 that’s compatible for similar money or a little more including rims for it. I like the way the r4 do on front of my mx5800 when using loader is why I ask this. Only one manufacturer still making that 7.2-16 according to the tire dealer is reason price so high. Guess supply and demand at play there

All the EBAY "auctions" for the 7.2-16 size, state 7-16 is a suitable replacement tire size. Of the 7-16 size, you can get two tires for less than $200.
Of course one should do homework and check manufacturers listed specs of the 7.2-16 Goodyears vs Carlisle 7-16's, to see how they spec out against each other.

Might ask you dealer about going to the 7-16 size.

Another question on this, it seems hard to find the 420/70-24 tires when I search online, or at least there aren't many options. Is that just the metric size? Is there a conversion that I can use to get more results?

If your asking if you can put R4's on R1 rims, no they are to narrow.
Can you get R4's that will match the R1's RC so they will work with the R1's in the rear yes.
