L2900 won't turn off with ignition switch.
Engine keeps running with switch off.
From what I see on line your tractor has an engine stop knob to pull if the key switch does not stop the engine.

On the side of the fuel injection pump there will be an electrical solenoid.

Post some pictures of that area of your engine.

On some models the solenoid is powered ON to the allow the engine to run and returned to NO FUEL by a spring.

On other models just the reverse happens. The engine is running, you turn the key to off, a timer applies power to the solenoid long enough to stop the engine.

On kubotabooks.com the owner's manual I find for L2900 does not have a wiring diagram. Do you have one and if so post it,.

Have you checked fuses?

My M9000 did that one time. Had to unplug the solenoid and clean the connector. Had a little trash in the plug. It's never given another problem since.

Owner's manual doesn't have any wiring schematics or theory of operation, basically tells you how to do basic maintenance and how to operate the tractor.

You'll need a work shop manual, or referred to as a WSM.

You'll have to verify if the solenoid gets +12v when key is turned off. If it doesn't, you'll have to track it down to possibly a fuse, or a key stop timer, etc. If it's getting power and not pulling the lever to the off position, chances are good that the shutoff solenoid has failed.
