I've got an 89 l2850,had issues with the hydraulic pump. .that's fixed..now the line coming out from hydro/steering side goes down into the filter assembly is leaking pretty bad..does anyone know if there's an O ring behind the cover where it goes in? Covee has 6 bolts around the perimeter..thanks Charlie.

I'm trying to get a pic posted. .having issues. .when you look down on top of pump, there's the fel out port to the right(banjo)..to the left side is the out port for the tranny/steering,where that line goes down behind pump an goes into the filter assembly. That's where it's leaking. It seemed really loose when I took out the old pump.the Kubota dealer said it's supposed to be..I just don't think this loose.I tried tightening the 6 perimeter bolts but they were tight..so I'm thinking there has to be an O ring in there? Does this help?

We got it fixed..there are 2 o rings behind the cover of the line that runs from top of hydraulic pump to the filter assembly. .kubota dealership said no..had to buy whole assembly at $572! Glad didn't listen to them and took it all apart.
