New owner to this sweet little tractor I've heard so much about.
My mowing time has gone from 7 hours down to 2 thanks to the deck.
I'm looking forward to playing with the snow blower.

I am looking for a set of turf tires as the rice paddies are hard on a wet yard.
What kind of $cratch am I looking at?
Should I consider a second set of rims instead of paying to have them swapped each season?
Is it going to be a pain to source rims and tires?
Does anyone run chains on their turfs?
The rice paddies look mean enough to handle snow but I want to be prepared here in Winnipeg, MB

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

The rice tires will work fine in the snow but consider having them ballasted as the I discovered on a slight slope you can lose traction and after I had mine loaded the tractor took on a different tone on the traction issue. I personally like rimguard as this will not rust the rims like CC.

On the issue of finding used tires I would go to the Kubota dealers and seeing what they had in used tires, just tell them that you have a L185 as some dealers do not sell to you if you mention you have a gray. I never tried to replace the wheels on my L1801 when I had it.

Thanks for the advise Michael.
I asked one Kubota dealer and they suggested a tire guy they use.
I now have 2 differents shops sourcing tires for me.
I figured the current tires would be fine in snow, they look pretty meaty. Will look to ballast them.
