I am needing an oil filter for my Kubota T1670. I don't have a Kubota dealer close to me, so I was hoping I could find a Fram filter that would fit my mower. Does anyone know what Fram filter would fit on my T1670?

Also, how much oil and what type will I need for the oil change?

Thanks for any help!

I'm in Kentucky.

I know the mower has a screw-on type of filter, and I was hoping someone could help me find an automotive-style equivalent like a Fram, Wix, Purloator, ect that would fit my mower.

Are you sure about that list?

I looked up the part number on Kubota's website and got a part number E7194-32110

That cross referenced to a Fram PH6016, PH3614, and PH7575. But on your list, it cross references to a Fram PH8172. Now I have no idea what filter I need. I'm going to have to see if there is a number on the filter that is on it I suppose.

The ph7575 is about an inch longer than the ph8172, either will work

It's just a run-of-the-mill Kohler, CH16S I think it was?

Either way, they use the same filter that most of the air-cooled Kohlers used, which is available for any bad boy Kohler-powered mower, if you have a tractor supply company close they have them. 1205001-s IIRC is the kohler part number, may cross over to an automotive filter.

Funny thing. I was "junkyarding" a while back and the particular yard I was at had the cars all marked on the quarter panels what was wrong with them. Trans, Engine, wreck, whatever. I was looking at a bunch of engine failed cars/trucks and a big majority of them had fram filters. I found that odd. Big ol' orange filter sticking out like a sore thumb. I switched brands immediately. But I also understand that sometimes in a pinch you have to do what you can.
