What do you mean steering stops?
Do you mean the old style bolt stops on the front axle bevel case?
No, you do not have those.
Do you mean the steering wheel doesn't stop at the end of the rotation?
That's normal for a Hydrostatic (hydraulic) steering system, you will also notice that the steering wheel zero location will always change , that too is normal.

Sorry, I am talking about the steering stops that attach to the front axle and limit how far the front wheels can turn. They came installed on my Kubota B3350SU. The steering stops are listed as an option on the Kubota LX4020.

You can install them if your front wheels are contacting the loader frame. Otherwise no need.

My understanding is that these (steering stops) are only needed 'IF' the tractor is optioned with the larger sized tires AND if equipped with the mid mount mower deck option.

I questioned this in detail when buying my LX4020. I do have the large size R4's (no mid mount mower), my tires haven't rubbed anything.

N.Y,
When I got pricing on the lx2620 cab stops were automatically added to the price with the larger tire option. Standard size tires didn't require them.

My LX2610 had them, I had the larger R14’s. There’s a picture here somewhere showing how minuscule they are.

Found the pictures. This was on my 2610, not sure if the axle is the same in the 4020.

I don't know all of the design / shape diffences, but the 3520 & 4020 model's front axle is 4" wider than the '10' series were. *the new 2620 may have the previous front axle, I'm not positive though.
I think the wider axle helps with clearance, getting the tires out little further from the tractor.
