85Hokie, you going to buy it?

I've had a lot of tractors of various size, brands and value. Some with loaders, some used with other implements. Other types of equipment also, like balers, rakes, disc mowers, hay binds, 40 HP trenchers and smaller. Never had any insurance to cover them being disabled or damaged. Never needed it if I had it!

The B8200 I bought new in 1985. Never went to the dealer for anything. I bought oil, filters etc from them and did the work myself. Sold it last summer with it never getting beat up, tore up, broken. Still had the original seat!

Never been one to "buy" insurance on those things ....other than a car/truck type.

Only boo boo I've made on my tractor was dropping a log on the hood.....hour 1!!!!!

I just received a quote from Ktac insurance for my new M7060 and loader. $41,000 worth of coverage will run me about $650 per year.

I haven't done anything yet but I need to go ahead and bite the bullet... just in case.

Update-

I called and spoke with Debbie this morning and closed the deal on some insurance for my M7060 and loader. I only needed $35,000 worth of coverage (my mistake) so the premium was less at $546 annually.

Getting the insurance was painless and everything was handled right over the computer and phone.

I can sleep easier at night knowing it's covered if there's a fire, the shed caves in or it turns up missing.

Guys I have a dumb question... I have the 2000 B2410 tractor and three Kubota pieces of Kubota equipment that goes with it... the the MMM, Front Blade and the 2 lever control valve. All of which have to be provided to the KTAC for coverage in case there is damage done to anyone or more components with individual Model and Serial Numbers.

Now here is the $64,000 question... if, God forbid, something would happen to my tractor and I'd have to replace it... the chance the mower, valve or front blade fitting a newer tractor would be next to zero. How would that be handled by the insurance company because at that point you would have some pretty heavy door stops?
