Hi
I have an old B1600 and have lost the ignition key. Before I rewire the switch to something without a key I thought I'd ask how best to get a key (I have no paperwork for the tractor)
I was once told that they all have the same key. Is that the case and if so what should I be looking for, on ebay? Any other ideas very welcome, while I keep hoping the key will turn up.
Thanks

In the past I have ordered Kubota keys off eBay. Got several keys for the price of one from a dealer and that included the shipping. They work fine.

BUT if you need the key immediately the dealer is likely the best option. In my case the dealer is 45 minutes or more away, so a visit costs me two hours plus gas. Trip to the mailbox is much preferred..

Thanks all.
I had been thinking of the internet (ebay £3.75) but wasn't sure what key to get and if it was true that all B series have the same key. Obvious it may be but I hadn't thought about Kubota dealers as they only seem interested in new stuff, however I called them and after some amazement they think they can get a key (£5.80) and tell me that there are only a few key shapes made by Kubota.
So thank you. I now have 2 options .

I think when I ordered my key or keys off ebay, the seller listed keys by Kubota model number. Might be different for sellers supplying the UK. Don't know...
