My 2650 snow blower lift cylinder is controlled off of my loader valve. So when I want it down, of course I want it to "float" and the valve has the position for that and all, but I don't like that I have to jam the blower down as the lever is moved into the float position. What if I just left the hydraulic line that extends the cylinder disconnected? The blower weighs about 300 lbs. and I really don't need to have any down pressure at any time. Could I just drain out that line and leave it disconnected?
