Hi all,
on my B6200hst there are 4 short little rubber hose about 5 inches long that connect the Hydraulic piping to the cooler and guess cut off block. Looked up the parts and they list 2 different part number, and they want $17 each for the 4 of them. My question is can I just go and buy some rubber hose for Hydraulic
by the foot and use that? Wouldn't it be about the same thing? Would save me some money. Any input is welcomed. Needing to replace them, they are cracked and started to leak.

Yes and no, those hoses are not normal hydraulic hoses as they do not have the same pressure braid, they have a braid that keeps them from sucking in.
It also is softer than a regular hydraulic hose to fit the barbed fitting properly.

If you can find the right hose then your golden, but that style of hose is hard to find. ;)

Thanks for the Info, tried to find something like you were talking about. But no luck, and found out that there are 6 of those hose's, not 4. 5 they sell and 1 has been discontinued. Don't know what to do about that one. Its the hose coming from the Hydraulic block to the pump.

The small line 3/8" if I remember right, you can use fuel line for that one, as it won't degrade or collapse ;)

Perhaps you want to use automatic transmission cooler hose. It is typically has a bit higher pressure rating than fuel line hose, rated for the temps in question and is compatible for the fluid in question. It will work with barb fitting or traditional hose clamps. It will last longer in this application versus fuel line hose.

Example: https://www.rockauto.com/en/tools/hoses/lines+&+clamps,transmission+oil+cooler+line+/+hose,transmission+oil+cooler+line+/+hose,1001786

Should be able to find locally at either a auto part store or automatic transmission repair shop.

I've hoses made before for splitters etc. Some heavy equipment places make them up from your part you bring them and they are usually inexpensive

You're talking about the high pressure hoses with crimped ends, we are talking about the low pressure return hoses, they are different. ;)
