B7200 HST Makes a high pitched squeak when I shut it off. Sounds like something high pressure being released . I can't figure out where its coming from but sounds in the engine compartment or around there. Maybe fluid being released? Does it a few times after shutting down bu tI heard it once today while driving . Any ideas will be appreciated. Everything works well but I don't like not knowing what it is. Thanks in advance for any help.

This just a SWAG, sounds like a bearing of some sort.......does the squeak last as long as the engine dies? Or is it quick and done? I bearing would change its sounds as it slowed down.

The sound is a high pitched chirp after the engine is shut down and is off for a little while, maybe three minutes or so. Also will do it one to three times. Sounds like pressure being released by something, much like an air system bleeding off. I tried releasing the pressure on the loader after shut down to see if it was hydraulic pressure releasing. Everything works fine so it is puzzling. Thanks for the input so far.

It's the cooling system, cooling down, makes a sound like pressure releasing.

Endorse all answers above but keep in mind the Hydrostatic Transmission where very high pressures are involved. Suggest bring the engine up to normal temperature, do two tests.
1 Drive the tractor forward or back in high gear at fixed revs 2500and shutdown the engine immediately and listen to the squeak.
2 Leave the engine at 2500 for a few minutes, dont drive it, shut it down and listen (for a different squeak or no squeak)
A mechanics stethascope is a useful tool to identify noise sources.
Good luck and keep us advised
Cheers

Haven't had to take her out for a couple of days but will report back after I do. Will use the stethascope if I can determine what area the sound is in.
Thanks to all for the help
