Hand Valve Under Seat on an LB2500

I assume that its to isolate a part of the hydraulic system but it seems to be seized. I have to change a hydraulic line now so any advice would be appreciated.

if it is the knob that i think it is, it is probably the control for the raise and lower speed for the three point hitch...is it between your feet close to the floor? send a pic.

Eddie is right the valve controls the rate of speed at which the 3pt raises and lowers.

Thanks I guess I"ll have to take it apart to see if I can unseize it.
