Newbie here....was wondering if anyone knows the size of the grease zerk on the top link of a B3300SU? the part number is 06613-10675, after reading some threads before joining, not sure if this is a SAE or Metric, and is there a diagram of sizes for each zerk anywhere?

Thanks

I would assume it’s metric. The parts diagram I looked at does not give any spec.
Most farm supply stores sell zerk assortments.

Your local tractor supply will have an assortment of zerks, straights- angles the whole nine yards of them! Last time I checked it was about 10 bucks!;)

(Edit) they've gone up!:D

I have bought a box of zerks at the local AutoZone. It had metric and SAE. $12. I was missing a Zerk on a backhoe pin. A strait 6mm fit great. I think Kubota is all metric except tire air pressure lol

On a similar subject: do any of you have issues with getting the grease gun fitting off the zerk? On some of mine it takes quite an effort to remove the gun when through greasing, sometimes have to put pressure on it with a screwdriver or other lever.

In the past yes. With a Lock n Lube tip on a Dewalt electric grease gun, greasing is a breeze.

thats why I need to replace, lol...before i bought a tractor, i only really greased lawn tractor and mowers and a car a few times. it does seem that it takes a little more effort to get it off on this tractor. i have bought zerks at TSC, just trying to get the correct one, and just ordered the lock n lube from amazon....thanks for the help

Lock-n-lube works great and I highly recommend it - you won't regret buying it after using one

The end of the standard grease pump fitting is like a keyless drill chuck and inside is usually 3 or 4 jaws. If you turn the grease pump fitting counter clockwise it loosens the jaws and the fitting will come off easier. Turning it clockwise makes the jaws grab on tighter for those fittings that don't want to take grease easily.

Is the Lock and Lube brand the one to go with? Seems like there are quite a few brands out there and I would not want to buy a piece of junk since it will be used quite often. Is the $30 range about right for a good one?

That's what I have - think many others here too.

$30 sounds right. Spendy, but does as advertised!

Like Hokie says, makes a grease job go real quick, almost fun....almost!

On the B2650 are the zerks all the same size? What mm/size are they? Has anyone used a gun that uses air, Campbell Hausfeld?

I have used the air grease guns before and hated them. I went back to a regular gun with a Lock-N-Lube. I would love to try out a battery powered on though.

A lock n lube does all of the zerks on a B2650 except the one on the loader bucket. There is a hole to access the zerk through, but the lock n lube won't fit. You need a regular straight one to access it (or take the bucket off).

Got my LockNLube, went with the name brand, the others looked like their springs were not as robust. And it was not made in China but is a product of South Africa, surprising.
