:confused:I read a post that had similar HST problems as mine (steering whine, stops forward motion after a couple hours mowing, uphill only) and read about a control valve filter. I have changed UDT fluid, HST filter, and cleaned screen at 600 hour maintenance, currently have 628 hours and uphill no movement problem has returned yesterday after 2.5 hour mowing.

Thank you for your reply;

I use UDT on my lawn tractor, had this similar problem before 600 hr. maintenance then changed all fuel line filters and this seemed to improve performance. I use clean fuel and stabilizer, so this doesn't make sense why the fuel filters would cause the problem. I think I mentioned that the strainer isn't clogged either (I just pulled that out and checked). Also I live in SW Virginia where the climate isn't very hot, elevation (1257 ft.) is standard in a hilly area.

Does anybody look at this post or has it been repeated too many times that no one wants to reply.

One reply in three weeks doesn't seem right.:confused:

#1 Get the WSM for the mower, it will walk you through troubleshooting Procedures.

#2 If my memory serves me right that unit has a problematic/week HST unit and is know to have issues, might be worth it to call the dealer where you got it and ask him of an know issues.

Very few posters on here have that model, and it's not a standard HST setup like a full tractor so that would be one major reason for the lack of replies. ;)

Thank you WolfMan for your response.

I understand that My Kubota is a garden/lawn tractor, I hope that some issues would relate and be assistance for other subscriber. Sorry for the frustration that I displayed I feel that Kubota is the top of the line product; I have a Brother-In-Law who worked for JD who admitted that mine was a better brand but couldn't make himself say the name of KUBOTA!:eek:
