G6200 keys: are they universal?

I'm 99% sure I need to replace the ignition switch in my G6200. I've noticed that the switch can be bought either with a new key or without. Are the keys for these tractors universal (will my old key work with the new switch), or do I need to order the switch with a new key?

Part numbers for reference:

66021-55130 (with key)
66021-55140 (without key)

Should be universal. I know my 92 g6200h key works in my 99 L2500. Totally different series tractor but same exact key.

Great, thanks! The switch without the key is half the price so that'll save some money.

I think every Kubota I own takes a different cut of key. But I have a Case tractor and a Ditch Witch trencher that use the same key!

Cab tractors are the oddity, they have cut keys, non cabbed tractors have common keys.

Different classes, series and vintages take different keys (they are all common within there group).
Some of the newer models cross over between some series and classes.

My new B2650 Cab (20 hrs) uses the same key as my B7610 (12 yrs old) for the ignition. The cab's doors have the cut key. More than once I have fooled myself by sticking the door key in the ignition and getting no response. After a short, anxious moment I realize my mistake and breathe a sigh of relief.

Which leaves me wondering why they sell a switch with or without a key. Perhaps the one sold without a key uses the generic Kubota key while the one sold with a key uses a cut key.
