Hey Gang.....anyone know what the bearing specs are for the front wheel bearing on a G2000? My service manual does not show a diagram. I'm guessing the G1700,1800, 1900 have the same wheel design because all of those models are covered by my service manual.

Thanks!
Jack

the part number appears to be 66021-56130. If your auto parts guy can't cross reference the Kubota number, your local bearing distributor should be able to match it. Something that small is best bought at a Kubota dealer.

Huge thanks Rentthis. Kubota hasn't been a lot of help; They claim they don't even have a P/N for the shear bolt for my TG2742 snow blower. I asked them at least for the specs so I can turn some on my lathe but they claim they don't keep that info. The local distributor had to order some but didn't have specs.

Thank you Kubota for hanging me out to dry....thank you Rentthis for helping.

Actually I just checked this part number (66021-56130) and it is shown as a dry sleeve bearing 25mm ID x 28mm OD. The bearings on my G2000 are flange ball bearings. I'd like to have spares waiting before I knock the old ones out and destroy them, but I can see the ID is about 25 mm.

Are you sure about that P/N?

Thanks for trying though.....

Just get the kubota bearings.

I went through this on my G1900. They are cheaper from Kubota than they were at the local chinese bearing supply place.

I actually use a lot of Kubota bearings in place of identical numbered bearings that other manufacturers sell for 3x more money+. A common mower's spindle bearings are identical to Kubota's, Kubota sells them for $11 and the other popular manufacturer sells them for $40 EACH, and they're chinese garbage that fail often and prematurely.
