Hi, In the two years or so that I have been a member the times of my posts have been shown as my local time
I have now noticed that when I post the time shown is out by several hours despite my settings being correct for my location.I can get the times somewhere near by resetting my zone to canada
MrK,vic, anyone know what I'm doing wrong? other than not living in canada;):D:confused:
thanks
Dave

The clock on my computer right now says exactly 9:00 am and Im located in Arrowwood Alberta, MST

I posted, went back to view and it recorded the time as 11:14???

Mr. K?????
Thanks SDV,at least I know that its not my settings.:)
Mr K could have found a dodge for cheap extra bandwidth by routing through different time zones which has just confused us ;):D:D

I had never looked at that but I just went back to my last post and it was about 2:15 ahead of the actual post time.

If they came out with a lotto game that the object was to loose, that would be the one game I would win every time.

It's the new " government allocated time" . We can now tell you what time to get up and what time to go to bed. ps, Send us all your guns for a free pizza.

I noticed today that there was a small notice at 7:48 PDT saying that the forum time was now GMT and said that it was 8:48. GMT (Zulu time) would actually have been 2:48PM for Greenwich Mean Time.

OH well,

Sounds like a jumpy time zone issue.
