This is my almost normal experience with USPS shipping. Package was picked up by USPS in Kent, Washington a week ago. As of today there are no updates and no one knows where the package is:

I have now had 16 packages make it to my local USPS office, and just fall flat off the face of the earth.

Government run agencies are the model of incompetence and inefficiency.

I’ve heard the delivery horror stories from FedEx…I have to say I must be very lucky with them here in NH because I have had multiple deliveries over the years, all successful and on time. One time, however, I tried to send something to my daughter’s address directly from Amazon and got “the picture” of a package on someone else’s front steps…now…the USPS however, is another story altogether.😡

My first GPS was named after the Indians on F Troop. The 'Fugawee'
That must be the same tribe my wife is from….

Every time she wakes up in the car, she says “Were the Fugawee?"

The saga continues—had to post this (almost) unbelievable stupidity. Yes that is my drop box to keep these morons from tearing up my gravel road. Yes that is my package placed NEXT TO IT.

I swear, how do these idiots remember to breathe?

My experiences with FedEx is….. well….
I’ve paid extra for Saturday delivery of a negotiable instrument…. which was not delivered because it was Saturday… then it was left hanging in a clear plastic bag on a fence-post on the county-road a quarter mile from my house.
I’ve paid extra for rural delivery to my residence….because my ranch is not considered a “business” by FedEx…. and I was cautioned I had to have a loading dock and/or fork-lift to unload the heavy pkg…(a custom rear truck bumper) …. When it failed to arrive on the specified day…. It was found the next day (again) out on the county road where the FedEx driver shoved it off the back of his truck…damaged/bent from the fall. (The shipper replaced it and shipped the replacement via contracted-truck)
I’ve filed insurance on items FedEx failed to deliver….but Insurance refused to pay because FedEx had a photograph of the item .PROOF of Delivery! …. The photo showed the item sitting in the drainage-ditch on the county-road. Again.

Those are only two of Scores of such experiences.

UPS ALWAYS delivers correctly. USPS (Priority Mail) is also trustworthy and reliable.

I’ve had the complete opposite experiences. USPS, UPS, and Amazon are great for delivering; FedEx is the absolute worst. Unreliable and half the time they deliver my orders to another house. Anymore, I tell online merchants that I won’t buy from them if they ship FedEx.

For me it's USPS is the pits. So many things lost, damaged badly or in the case of a cell phone I sold STOLEN! I refuse to use USPS anymore for my business. I stick to UPS and FedEx and oddly most times for what I ship they're even cheaper!

I agree, and have similar results with USPS. Must be a regional problem....in several regions!!

It indeed must be a local thing. In my area USPS is the most reliable.

Well it's on you- there's no wording on the box to place packages INSIDE the box. It's just a waypoint as it is.
