Going to be pretty muted in our part of upstate New York.

Been dry and hot here most of the summer. Was wet for a good part of the early part of the year.

The Sugar Maples on our place have already lost quite a few of their leaves.

Our peak Fall color is early October, and we’ve got lots of September left….

Same here in NE Ohio. Sugar maple leaves are going almost directly from green to brown and dropping. The red oaks are close behind them. My lone Sycamore tree lost all its leaves a couple weeks ago, We haven't had any rain so far this month. Supposed to have a 40% chance for an inch or so next week.

Same up here. We are still in a drought and dried out brown is the predominant color.

Same here in New Hampshire. Some dull colors in the Maples, but many turning brown from drying out and falling. Looking at hillsides and mountains, there are large areas that everything has turned brown from drying out. The best colors are in the swamps and wet areas. Although many of them don’t have any water in them anymore.

Not that the area is known for its fall colors, but I think the west Tn/north Ms fall color is going to be brown. We're supposed to get rain this week, but the last two months have been dry.

So far there isn't much color here. I can stare at the brilliant red/orange trees and the way a rain can make the tree bark look black against bright yellow leaves. This has always been my favorite season, although snow can be fun:)

It's 94 degrees outside here still in Texas. I do love seeing the beautiful fall colors from the trees up there in the North East. Someday I hope to be able to see that in person and feel a real Fall for once.

The weather guessers are saying this is our dryest August/September since 2009. It's dry, for sure.

Mowed the front lawn yesterday. Stirred up more dust than grass clippings.

Today, I hooked up the DR vac trailer to the BX and ran it over the back yard. I filled the DR's trailer once, and then another half load going over about an acre. This is the earliest I can remember needing to use the DR.

Yep same here in the coal country ,,it has been so dry the leaves are brown and falling but over the last several days maybe 3 inches of rain, in the rain gauge. I think they are just going to fall with no real colors here

UPDATE
Filled the DR vac trailer three more times this afternoon. Oak leaves are still mostly green, but dry, but some of them are falling.
We got about 2" of rain earlier this week so the grass has grown. Mowing the rest of it tomorrow.
The rain may have slowed the leaf falling down a bit.
