Does anyone know if you can use the stacked exhaust of a m7040 on a Mx5100? Ive done a search and havent found much. Im tired of the left side of my loader being black from the soot of the exhaust, much less sucking exhaust fumes when Im on the tractor!!

It looks like the new muffler version might work (The M7040 came with 2 different versions), space would be my only question.
At $467.67 for the muffler $215.17 for the exhaust pipe and $142.19 x2 for the covers and $200 in other misc. parts needed to complete the task, you would be a lot better off just having your existing exhaust pipe reworked by a muffler shop to go up rather than forward. ;)

Thanks Wolfman, I had no idea of the cost....having a muffler shop do it was my first thought originally but I thought it sure would be nice having the stock look

I totally get it, I ran into the same issue, someone had removed the stock muffler and added an under tractor pipe and muffler, the stock muffler for my L3450 was $500 plus and $250 for the Exhaust pipe, I ended up going with an aftermarket muffler and simple strait pipe and flapper $45, I used the savings and put toward getting my FEL! :D

Put a good coat of spray on furniture polish down the surfaces of the left side of the tractor (after you've cleaned the tractor) and then you should just be able to spray off the carbon with a pressure washer, then reapply the furniture polish.

Worked great on aircraft that I cleaned, trust me, tractors have NOTHING on plane exhaust...
