engine viberation on M6040

I am looking for a tractor to use on a hay rake and tedder.I probally will not put 75hrs. a year on it.I found a dirt cheap 2WD Cab,heat,air 2007 6040.I do not know the history on it.It is showing 3200 hrs. I have heard it was used as a bushog tractor from the state of Georgia.I know this is a red flag but like I say it is very cheap.The engine started good yesterday when the temps were in the 20's.One thing I worry about is seems like the engine viberates more than it should.

I wonder if something is wrong with either or both of the engines balancer shafts??

Are you sure it is the engine that is vibrating. It may be something behind the engine. Lots of spinning shafts and bearings.

Check the engine mounts too, if rubber mounted, rubber could be shot, or something lose along the way.

I bet it hadn't been run in a while and was smoking a little more than usual, along with the shaking.
All these are semi normal, I bet it just wasn't firing cleanly on all cylinders, get it dump the fuel and filter put in new along with a fuel treatment/cleaner and that will help it along.
If after a little time of running it's still stumbling have the injectors checked.
